Pakistan- 62nd Independance Day- VI…

A view from the front.
This is Saudi Pak Tower in the (sort of) central business district of Islamabad, the Blue Area.

Pakistanis celebrated their 62nd Independance day from British raj (and Pakistan’s birthday too as the country didnt exist before that) on 14th of August, 2009. A brief history here:

In Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan, I went out with a group of photographers which I had never met before in real world but we were in contact on Flickr through groups like Pakistan Photographers’ Association:
www.flickr.com/groups/opp/

After we were not allowed to photograph buildings on the Constitution Ave (which included the Parliament building, Supreme Court of Pakistan and Prime Minister’s secretariat, among others) due to strict security arrangements, we moved to other parts of the city.
The next few photos are a remembrance of this nice evening. To my photographer friends, thanks for coming mates.
